It is a carefully designed programme based on NCTE guidelines to prepare teachers at the elementary level for the school in Bihar. The curriculum is reviewed periodically by a curriculum committee comprising experts with long experience in the area of elementary education. D.El.Ed. consists of theoretical and practical work, School Experience, Seminars & Workshops.

D.El.Ed.: Eligibility

Interested aspirants for this course are required to fulfill the below-mentioned eligibility criteria:

• Completed 10+2 from a recognized board
• Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics at 10+2 are preferred
• Above 50% marks or equivalent at 10+2 level

Candidates who completed their certification program in the stream of science must have 60% or above marks

D.El.Ed.: Admission Process

Admission process for this course in most of the colleges is based on entrance exam which is different for respective institutions. Candidates who cleared this entrance exam are further called for a round of personal interview. Questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects of 10+2 level are asked in the entrance exam.

Questions are asked in 3 sections in this exam. Separate cut off list for each section is issued. Those who cleared the cut off are selected for the course in various colleges.
